George Joseph Turgeon's Obituary
George Joseph Turgeon, 82, of Leesburg, Florida, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Tavares, Florida. He was born July 17, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a designer for Ford Motor Company for 31 years. He enjoyed woodworking, cabinet making, tennis, sailing, camping in his RV, and buidling model airplanes. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Leesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Viginia, eight children, Michael Turgeon, Linda Turgeon, Thomas Turgeon, Kenneth Turgeon, Kevin Turgeon, Jeffrey Turgeon, Carol Allan, and Susan Noland, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Leesburg, on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with Bishop Denis Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, 36601 CR 19A, Eustis, FL.
