Virginia L. Burgess' Obituary
Virginia L. Burgess, age 87, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was born May 23, 1925 in Canton, OH. She was a retired preschool teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares. She is survived by her son, Clyde Burgess, Jr. of Brighton, MI; daughters, Carol Franklin of Mission Viejo, CA and Michelle Burgess of Berwick, ME; sister, Helen Bigelow of Tavares, FL; grandson, Jeffrey Franklin; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Franklin and Jayce Franklin. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00PM in the chapel. Interment will be at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444.
