Vernon A. Williams' Obituary
Vernon Andrew Williams, 82, of Umatilla, FL passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was born in Umatilla, FL. He retired as a Master Sargent from the United States Air Force with the 509th Bomb Wing. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Umatilla.
He is survived by his loving wife: Ann Martin, Umatilla, FL; daughters: Terry M. (David) Smalley, Sebring, FL, Mary Jo (David) Stavey, Astatula, FL, Sherrie (David) Douglas, Eustis, FL; step-sons: W.T. Buddy (Jean) Martin, Umatilla, FL, David E. Martin, Umatilla, FL, Robert B. (Paige) Martin, Oviedo, FL, Phillip E. (Ashley) Martin, Broken Arrow, OK; sister: Charlotte Randall, Umatilla, FL; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Joan Leslie; and his brother: John S. (Jack) Williams, Jr.
A gathering of friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Umatilla, FL A graveside service will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, FL.
