Shirley Johnson's Obituary
Shirley Johnson of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the age of 88 years. She was born in Louisa, Kentucky. Shirley and her husband, Ray, moved to central Florida in 1957. They moved to Columbus, Ohio in the early 1970’s only to return to Florida in the late 1980’s. Shirley was a homemaker who adored her family. She loved spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 2007, after 50 years of marriage; and two granddaughters, Sarah Neely in 2013 and Amy Clark in 2017. Shirley is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Wanda Moseley of Palm Bay, Sheralyn (Richard) Clark of Grand Island, Florida and Carrie (Greg) Roberts of Fruitland Park, Florida; brother, William Salmons of Westerville, Ohio; sisters, Ruth Salmons of Louisa, Kentucky, Fern Keesee of Huntington, West Virginia and Eva Fox of Spencerport, New York; grandchildren, Emily Clark of Tavares, Florida, Kelly Clark of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Samantha Neely of Logan, Ohio and Colin Moseley of Melbourne Beach, Florida; as well as 2 great granddaughters, Caylee Whales and Lizabeth Neely.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Monday, June 11 at 11:30 am at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL.
