Shelby G Atchison's Obituary
Shelby G. Atchison of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 80 years. He was born in Murray, Kentucky and moved to this area from Detroit in 1969. Shelby proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp from 1955-1959. He worked many years for Central Automotive in Tavares, retiring in September of 2017. His favorite hobby was riding his Harley in his free time. Shelby was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Staci Atchison of Lady Lake, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lisa Atchison of Virginia Beach, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Bobbie Jo Atchison of Eustis, Florida; and son, Shelby G. Atchison of Tavares; sister, Donna Murphy of California; as well as 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 23 at 10:00 am at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis.
