Ruperto Martinez Sr.'s Obituary
Ruperto Marinez of Belle Glade, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He was 65. Ruperto was born in Matamoros, Mexico on Tuesday, March 18, 1958. He lived in Lake Jem prior to moving to South Florida in 1999. He was a Crew Leader working as an Agricultural Contractor. Ruperto had a reputation as an incredibly hard worker.
Ruperto was preceded in death by his father, Gregorio Martinez and his brother, Eloy Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dora Elia Ramirez-Martinez; mother, Maria De La Cruz-Martinez; daughters, Maria Gomez, Leticia Martinez, and Pelma G. Martinez; sons, Ruperto Martinez, Jr. (Janet), and Hernan Martinez; siblings, Sara Gomez, Leticia Martinez, Pablo Martinez, Gumaro Martinez, Nereida Martinez, Arturo Martinez, Robinson Martinez, and Marcia Garza; and grandchildren, Lisette, Aulani, Illiana, Lexine, Ruperto III, Joaquin, Elias Jr., Giana, Liam, and Kylo.
Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon with a funeral ceremony starting at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home chapel. A committal service will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
