Robert F. "Bob" Lussier's Obituary
Robert F. "Bob" Lussier 77, of Sun Lake, Grand Island, passed away on February 14, 2016. He was born in Mansfield, Connecticut to Margaret (Noel) and Fernand Lussier, they predecease him. He was a Christian and was retired from the United States Navy Reserve and the University of Connecticut Fire Department, retiring as a Captain. Bob enjoyed hunting with his sons and his friends, photographing trains, camping and traveling. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister Margaret Velazquez, brother Frank Lussier, grandson Joseph Sipple and his great grandson Ryland. Bob is survived by his wife Millicent, they were married for 58 years. He is also survived by his children; Rebecca (Daniel) Sipple of Morris, Illinois, R. Michael (Joni) Lussier of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, Kenyon (Gina) Lussier of Fredrick, Colorado and Rodney Lussier of Port Orange, Florida, his grandchildren; Kimberly (Jared) Boorky of Avon, Connecticut, Brenda (Patrick) Soreng of Coal City, Illinois, Nathan (Janine Rose) Sipple of San Diego, California, Brian Lussier of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Christopher (Lynn Reynolds) Lussier of Wichita Falls, Texas, Denise Lussier of Nashville, Tennessee, Jordan Lussier of Pueblo, Colorado, Cody Lussier of Sterling, Colorado, Brianna Lussier of Pueblo, Colorado, Dennis Lussier Siebeldingen, Germany and nine great grandchildren. Two brothers also survive; Charles (Elizabeth) Lussier of Mansfield, Connecticut and Fred (Donna) Lussier of Melbourne Beach, Florida. Funeral services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Friday, February 19th at 11 AM, the family will receive friends from 10 AM until the start of the service. Committal, with military honors, will follow in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
