Rebecca Marie Dandridge's Obituary
Rebecca "Becky" Marie Dandridge, beloved resident of Lake County, Florida, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the age of 68.
Becky was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1956. She spent part of her childhood in Miami before her family relocated to Lake County in 1971, where she would remain a cherished member of the community for more than five decades.
Becky discovered her passion for visual storytelling and joined the Triangle News Leader as a graphic designer. Over a distinguished 40-year career, she combined creativity and precision to bring the newspaper’s stories to life.
A devoted member of Life Community Church, Rebecca’s faith guided her life. She was active in the church and always offered a smile or a listening ear.
Her love of crafting was contagious. Whether she was designing elaborate scrapbook pages or arranging diamond-dot art, Becky infused every project with her trademark joy and attention to detail.
Rebecca’s warmth and generosity live on in her family members that survive her: sisters, Martha D. Hassall of Leesburg and Melissa Dandridge of Tavares and several nieces and nephews.
