Paula Jean Andrus' Obituary
Ms. Paula Jean Andrus, age 67, passed away October 22, 2024. She was born on February 19, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to Cyril George Taveirne and Della Emogene Clement Taveirne.
Ms. Andrus was a resident of Freeport and was Lutheran by faith. She also loved to read, craft, garden, and always had a house project that she was working on. She adored her grandchildren and would support any of her loved ones who were in need without question if she was able to and they were always welcome in her home. She loved animals and always had cats and dogs at all times in her home as family pets. She was also a known to be a 'spitfire' as well and was known for her smart remarks. Her loss will be greatly felt by people who knew her well and got to call her family or friend. She spent 20 years in the USAF and was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base, FL Prum Air Base, Germany Hurlburt Field, FL, Soesterburg Air Base, Netherlands Spangdahlm Air Force Base, Germany. She was also an Education and Training Specialist at Eglin Air Force base after her military retirement, where she retired a 2nd time from Civil Service.
Ms. Andrus was preceded in death by her parents Cyril and Della Taveirne and siblings, Carol Ollila Taveirne and George Taveirne
Ms. Andrus is survived by her daughter Nicole Reese and her husband Justin Reese and son, Timothy Andrus; grandchildren Kyleigh Reese, Caitlyn Reese and Emma Andrus and her ex-husband, Timothy Andrus.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens; 36601 CR 19A, Eustis, Florida 32726 with full Military Honors by the United States Air Force.
Flowers are being accepted.
Burial will be held at Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
