Mona P. Hord's Obituary
Mrs. Mona P. Hord of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the age of 62 years. She was born in Gwinnett County, Georgia to Aurey F. and Ruth Ann Plott. She retired from AT&T in Atlanta, Georgia after more than 20 years of service. Mona moved to central Florida in December 2001 from Dacula, Georgia. She was Baptist by faith. Mona was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She was also a member of the AT&T Pioneers. Mona is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 32 years, Donald and 6 step children and 5 grandchildren. A Graveside Ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 28 at 10:15 am at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 (www.cshospice.org). Arrangements are entrusted to Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors.
