Mary Kathryn Watts' Obituary
Mary Kathryn Watts, 102, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away May 13, 2026. Born August 20, 1923, in Marion, Ohio, Mary carried a steady, faithful spirit through a long life marked by devotion to the people she loved and a compassionate way of being that made others feel seen and cared for. In 1959, Mary moved to Florida, a turning point that became the setting for decades of cherished memories and close-knit family life. In the ordinary rhythms of home and friendship, her presence was a quiet comfort—constant, attentive, and deeply devoted. Mary found joy in simple, shared moments. She loved playing cards with her special friends, and she especially loved spending time with family—time spent together that became its own kind of gift, offered with warmth and care. Her faith remained an anchoring part of her life, and she was part of LifePointe Church of Eustis. Mary is survived by her daughters: Sharon Myers of Grand Island, Jana Boyette (Carl) of Fyffe, Alabama, Kathy Corneliussen of Leesburg, Florida, and Jackie Donahue (Steve) of Leesburg, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Watts and her son, Steven Watts. Visitation will be held at LifePointe Church in Eustis, FL on May 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with services beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis. Though words cannot fully hold a life so long and lovingly lived, Mary will be remembered as someone cherished—steadfast in faith, devoted in family, and compassionate in the everyday ways that matter most.
