Marjorie Louise Reynolds' Obituary
“For I am now ready to be offered; and the time of my departure is at hand” I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Marjorie Louise (Skeen) Reynolds, age 80, of Leesburg went to be with her Lord JESUS CHRIST on Monday, September 1, 2014. She was born September 25, 1933 in Lawrence County at Bedford, Indiana to Roy and Imogene (Davis) Skeen. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, aunts and uncles, a brother, Michael Skeen (whom she raised), and a granddaughter, Amber Brooke. She married Jackie Dean Reynolds on November 26, 1953 at Bedford, IN. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Dean Reynolds of Leesburg, FL; daughter, Jan Glessner and husband Brad of Eustis, FL; son Jeffrey Reynolds of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Harwood of Greenwood, IN, Bailey Glessner of Orlando, FL and Dalton Glessner of Eustis, FL; great-grandson, Cooper Harwood and another one to arrive in April 2015. Also surviving are a brother, Jimmie Skeen of Orleans, IN; sisters, Karen Pace (Charles) and Mary E. Mathews both of Bedford, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who survive her. She has been a “Mom” to many younger people who loved her and called her Mom. She loved her children, grandchildren and extended families. She had worked and retired from the Department of the Navy at Crane, IN. She was a member of long standing of First Baptist Church of Eustis. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL
