I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. John was such a friend in the neighborhood (I bought a house from him), always helpful, keeping a watchful eye out. I called him our Mayor; he always knew what was happening! I will miss him very much. I was out of town for a few months (on my island, he said), and brought him back some dutch wafers he liked...I was delivering the cookies when a neighbor told me the sad news...I will eat them in his memory! I miss my friend. Thinking of you; so sorry.
