James P. Arata, 88,, of Grand Island, Florida passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. He was born in Brooklyn, New York where he worked as an electrician. James served in the US Army during World War II. He moved to Central Florida in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Susan, daughters: Janet Brooks and Carol Anderson, son Michael McShane, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Harden Pauli Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens.
