Estella Harriet Davis' Obituary
Estella Harriet Davis (Slives), age 85, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Bartram Crossing Assisted Living Facility. Mrs. Davis was a former resident of Leesburg, FL and Callensburg, PA. She was born to Albert and Beulah McHenry in Toby Township PA on July 28, 1932. She was married to John Silves who preceded her in death and is survived by her current husband, Donald Davis. Mrs. Davis graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1950, was a former member of the Eastern Star in Parker, PA, a member of the auxiliary for the Callensburg volunteer fire department, and an avid bowler while in Leesburg. She is survived by her son, Gerald Silves and daughter-in-law, Vickie Silves; 2 grandsons, Shawn and Bradley Silves of Jacksonville, FL; a granddaughter, Tiffany Beavor of Orange Park, FL; 4 sisters, Thelma Henderson, Sandra Parker, Kay Sines, Wanda Lunsford; and one brother, Ron McHenry. A special thank you to Camelia at Deerwood and Bartram Crossing Memory Care Facilities and to the hospice representatives from Northeast Florida for making her comfortable in her last year of life. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778. Interment will be with Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, Fl.
