Doyle Thompson Burnett, 83, of Interlachen, FL passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014.. He was born in Live Oak, FL. He moved to Interlachen in1985 from Eustis, FL. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Interlachen. He worked as an international representative for the electrical workers union (IBEW). Doyle was a member of Moose Lodge #84. He loved to fish. He is preceded in death by his son, Frank Cribbs, and six brothers and sisters. He is survived by his long time companion, Virginia Carmichael of Interlachen; son, Allen Burnett of Eustis, daughter, Sarita Taylor (Hank) of Gainesville; daughter-in-law, Blanche Branham Cribbs of Jacksonville; 8 grandchildren, Blaine Taylor, Haley Taylor, Melinda Burnett, Cody Burnett (Amber), Frank Cribbs, Jr., Matt Gandy, Amber Trainor (Jason), Scott Gandy (Sandra) and 2 great-grandchildren, Ashley Bordigon and T.J. Bordigon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with Pastor Tony Clubb officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL.
