Douglas A Noden's Obituary
Douglas A. Noden 81, of Eustis, passed away on March 31, 2013. He was born in Queens, New York and moved to Eustis in 2006 from Orlando. Doug was a 1954 graduate of Cornell University, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tavares and a retired electrical engineer for Lockheed Martin of Orlando. He was a Past Master of Eola Masonic Lodge #207 of Orlando and a member of York Rite, Scottish Rite, Bahia Shrine, the Holiday Rambler RV Club and the Realm Martin Retirees. Doug was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Marlene; they were married for 58 years. Also surviving are his children: Debbi (David) Love of Eustis, Kathy (Don) Ilkka of Eustis and David (Suzan) Noden of Cary, North Carolina, sister, Joan Keegan of Wallingford, Connecticut and his grandchildren; John Ilkka, Jacob Ilkka, Ben Love, Harry Love, Eric Noden and Anna Ilkka. The family requests memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Tavares, 600 W. Ianthe St. Tavares, FL, 32778, Eola Masonic Lodge #207, P.O. Box 560114, Orlando, FL 32856 or the charity of choice. Funeral services with Masonic Rites will begin at Eleven AM on Saturday, April 6th, in the First United Methodist Church of Tavares, a reception will follow. The family will greet friends from 10 AM until the funeral hour. Interment services will follow at 1:45 PM in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
