Donald A Latner's Obituary
Donald A. Latner of Umatilla passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was 87. Don was born in Umatilla. He worked as an Industrial Electrician most of his life. He was also a preacher with the Church of Christ. Between his work as an electrician and preaching, he moved all over Florida, to East Tennessee, to Trenton, Florida and eventually returned to his hometown. Don loved fishing. He was a member of the International Fly-Tying Association. He was also a member of the IBEW Local 606 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers).
Don is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Lois; sons, Donnie (Connie) Latner of Athens, Alabama, Mark (Beth) Latner of Trenton, Florida and Timmy (Peggy) Latner of Trenton; daughter, Terri Bone of Limestone, Tennessee; grandchildren, Donnie (Renee) Latner of Athens, Alabama, Sarah Latner of Trenton, Adam (Bethany) Latner of Trenton, Kyle (Tiffany) Latner of Ocala, Florida, Chenae Latner of Trenton, Christopher Bone of Asheville, North Carolina, Melissa (Kent) Young of Jonesborough, Tennessee, and Renee (Roger) Crowe of Elizabethton, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Elise, Brady, Royce, Gene, Maddie and Kamdyn.
