Charles J. Cullen
SUMMERFIELD – Charles James Cullen, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
Charles was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired after 20 years of service.
He will be missed by his wife of 25 years, Alveila J. (Thomas) Cullen; sons; Lewis B. C. Thompson (Marjorie) of Dumas, TX; Carl W. Cullen (Barbara) of Rockford, IL; daughter, Linda M. Battenberg of Freeport, IL; step-daughter, Constance L. Moore (Eric) of Sidney, ME; brothers; Joseph Cullen (Julia) of Sarasota, FL; LeRoy Cullen, Warren, PA; Howard Cullen (Shirley) of Ohio; sister; Nellie M. Lyles of Sanford, FL; sister-in-law; Shirley Cullen of Eustis, FL; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11 AM. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service starting at 10 AM. Burial will be in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis at 1 PM.
