Bobby Wayne Culbreth's Obituary
Bobby Wayne Culbreth passed away on Saturday, May 25the at the age of 73. He was born in Doerun, GA in 1939 to the late John and Clara Jo Culbreth. Bobby served in the Army as a radio operator for the Artillery in Korea. Bobby made his home in Lake County since he was an infant. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends on his BBQ. Bobby was a welder and metal fabricator, and did a lot of work for Disney. He is survived by his loving wife of over 54 years, Bessie, one son, Samuel John (Kerry), and one daugher Renee (Melvin) Strobel, all of Leesburg. He is also survived by a sister, Virginia Kay Fischer of Windemere, FL, three grandchildren, Aaron, Brittany, and Anneliese, and great-grandchild, Naomi, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Culbreth will be at the Page Theus Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30th, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the Midway Baptist Church of Leesburg, with Rev. Dr. Alan Holden officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL.
