Agnes S. Shaw's Obituary
Mrs. Agnes S. Shaw of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the age of 91 years. She was born in New York City and moved to Mount Dora, Florida from New Jersey in 1971. She was a retired parochial school teacher. Agnes was also a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, where she taught Sunday school for 21 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crafts but mostly loved babysitting and being a nanny. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Suzanne Shaw Pinkston and Maureen Shaw Bonsal, both of Mount Dora; grandson, Craig Bonsal and his wife, Aubrey of Gainesville, Florida; nieces and nephews (children of the late Margaret Paolini), Louis J. Paolini, Joseph Paolini and Anne Menchini, all of New York. Agnes was preceded in death in 1986 by her husband of 47 years, John T. Shaw, sister, Margaret Paolini and brother, Frank J. Smith. Friends are invited to gather for viewing on Sunday, March 17 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and on Monday from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm. A funeral ceremony will be on Monday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis.
