Arthur Frank Scholz, 80, of Altoona, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Florida in 1979. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lucy, sister, Shirley Johnstone of Streamwood, IL, Marge Hiliger of Penfield, NY, one step-daughter, 7 chilcren, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He worked over the years as a plasterer, a policeman, a truck driver, and in a commercial nursery. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Beyers Funeral Home in Umatilla, with burial to follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL.
